Mild drama ensued Sunday morning in Kasinga Market after a middle aged man literally stripped to his birthday suit after a commercial sex worker he had hired for the night disappeared with his money.
The victim who is well known in the area as a businessman who distributes loaves of bread, learnt the hard way after the alleged woman whom he had taken to spent the night with escaped with all the money he had made the whole week. the incident occurred on early Sunday morning.
Confirming the incident that left residents mouths opened, Kasinga Location Assistant Chief Robin Wambua stated that such cases had become frequent in the area. However he said the man is accused of failing to pay the woman what he had promised her.
“Similar cases to this one have been on the increase lately. Men who encourage this kind of business should be well-prepared to experience such incidents, since no one forces them to engage in such. Though the bar attendant reported that the two had quarrels with the woman claiming that the victim did not pay her the agreed money,” said Chief Wambua.
The area Community Policing officers however intervened and tied the man forcing him to put his clothes back.
The man could not be helped by the residents nor the police since he could not identify his nigh partner.
