A student at Moi University's main campus in Kesses on the outskirts of Eldoret town is furious after his 'side chick' disappeared with his valuables among them a phone and Laptop.
Elvis Mokaka, a second-year student studying Bachelor of Education claims that he had left his side chick Joyce (not her real name) in the room before leaving to meet his father in town.
“Joyce had visited me on Tuesday and we have been living together and I never suspected that she might disappear with my valuables," said Mokaka.
He noted that he had known Joyce through Facebook and decided to flatter her and at the end, he managed to convince her to visit him in his room at the campus.
“Joyce hails from Bungoma and had come to visit me in Eldoret," noted Mokaka.
He, however, said that he had enjoyed her company until Wednesday when she decided to disappear with his valuables.
“My laptop was Lenovo G50 which I bought at around fifty thousand shillings and my phone was worth sixteen thousand shillings," lamented the university student who regretted inviting the 'side chick' to his house.
The money he had used in buying the laptop and phone was from his Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) loan.
“I am also still torn between whether to report my girlfriend to the police or not," said Mokaka.
