There was drama at Marifa Estate in Garissa after an alleged sponsor and boyfriend collided at the female student’s residential place.
The sponsor is alleged to have checked in his ‘girlfriends’ residential home not knowing he would be met with the shock of his life.
It is alleged the sponsor paid the girls' rent and had furnished the room so that during his ‘business’ trips he would check in for a romp.
The lady seemed to have been playing her cards well without either of the men knowing the existence of a 3rd party.
The alleged sponsor checked in at around 8 am and knocked the door, according to witness accounts.
The boyfriend responded and went to open the door thinking it was maybe the landlord or a plumber but not anything about her co-husband as he told this writer.
The sponsor asked the male student what he was doing in his house, the student shocked asked him what he wanted at his girlfriend’s place and before long the two were locked in fists as the lady screamed for help alerting the neighbours.
By the time the neighbour responded the alleged sponsor was badly injured in his head with a blunt object and was bleeding.
His expensive suit was also torn into pieces.
The boyfriend, on the other hand, suffered bruises on the face and a broken nose and found he was naked after the scuffle.
The landlord of the house was forced to intervene before the two would ‘kill’ each other as both were breathing fire swearing to kill.
“I swear I will kill you. How dare you come to my house? Shame on you for you can’t even keep a girl from begging like a beggar. You will pay for this,” stated the angry sponsor.
“Shame on you old man, instead of focusing on your wife and children you are now turning on your own grandchildren. I will teach you a lesson and your stupid money,” noted the angry male student.
After things calmed down the alleged sponsor was heard saying he was coming for his properties as he sped off in his Harrier car.
The lady disappeared during the scuffle and hid at a neighbour’s home as the boyfriend called out for her furious.
The landlord noted that he would report the 3 to the police.
"They just can't come to my businesses and start fighting. What if one of them died," stated Adan Ismael the landlord.
The neighbour however noted that female student was not a very ‘good’ neighbour as he always brought different men into the Estate.
“We knew the all thing was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Thank God no one died today. Should have the old man shot someone as he was claiming, then things would have been different,” noted Diana Wanjiku her neighbour.
“The female student has bad manners. We always questioned how she managed to pay rent for this rental places alone since we knew she was a student. We have now known her true picture,” said Francis Timotheo.
