There was commotion on Saturday at a hostel in Kisumu after the landlord snitched female students to their parents.
According to the twin students, their landlord has been making phone calls to their parents in Machakos, accusing them of conducting prostitution.
According to the landlord, he has lectured them on several occasions not to accompany men to the residential rooms.
He claimed that the parents had given him a duty to look after them their kids, adding that if anything wrong happened to them, he was going to take the blame.
“Our mum called saying we’ve become Kisumu prostitutes. She also warned us to stop attending nightclubs. This landlord is feeding her with lies,” said one of the students.
After the incident, the two furious students publicly confronted the landlord and warned him to stop creating a rift between them and their parents.
The two dismissed the prostitution claims as malicious rumors aimed at tarnishing their good name.
According to them, their classmates only accompany them to the hostel when they need to conduct their academic discussions.
They warned the landlord they were going to vacate his house if he persists with the behavior.
