There was a drama on Wednesday at a school in Chulaimbo after a standard one pupil identified bribed his teacher with a hundred shillings.
The incident happened when the teacher cycling to the school at around 11:00am spotted the pupil hiding in thickets.
The teacher dropped his bicycle and forced the kid to go back to school leading to a drama between the two.
A Hivisasa writer learned from the child's mother that the pupil tried to convince the teacher not to snitch him to his parents, but he repeatedly declined.
The pupil then revealed that he had two hundred shillings in his pocket, and told the teacher to take a hundred and leave the other half for him.
According to the mother, the teacher surprisingly took all the money and spared the pupil. The teacher's move angered the pupil who later narrated to her mother all the details.
"He was angry with his teacher. He decided to inform me about what happened so that I could offer my help," said the mother.
The angry mother confronted the teacher on Thursday morning and threatened to fight him.
