[Photo| Courtesy]A notorious Eldoret traffic officer, known for taking bribes from motorists, found himself in trouble over the weekend.This is after one of the motorists almost disappeared with him, in his truck.Drama begun when the officer flagged down a trailer, and asked the driver to park by the road side for allegedly flouting traffic regulations. After few minutes of talks and possible negotiations, the traffic officer entered the truck, with the driver starting the engine, ready to go, leaving behind his fellow officers.However, things seemed unusual to the officer, after the driver continued driving speedily past Eldoret town."Scared and not sure of the intentions of the driver, the officer started screaming for help," report Ureport.The officer did not engage the driver, in fear of causing an accident.Things however started going in his favour, when the truck driver slowed on arrival to a route heading to Elgeyo Marakwet after finding a herd of cattle crossing the road. The officer then safely jumped out.
