A preacher at Kenya Israel Church in Milimani estate in Busia, Rebecca Oduori woke up on Monday morning and found two identical twins dumped outside her house.Addressing the press outside her house near Nebere Hotel, Ms Oduori said she was alerted by her son who was preparing to leave for school at 5.30am that two children had been dumped outside their house."I found the two male children aged about one-and-half years dumped outside the house. Considering that they were feeling cold I took them to the house. It is sad that a woman worth her salt can dump children she laboured for nine months. If you don't want to deliver please use family planning methods. May God guide these children to shame the devil," she said.It was counter-blame at the scene as women blamed men for wooing women into sex and later dumping them while men also railed at women for being enticed with goodies to give birth when they are not ready to take care of children."It is women who rush to men for help and being wooed into sex by any man who appears philanthropic. Why should men be blamed for merely solving women's sexual desires?” said Peter Oongo, a resident."Men should bear the brunt of such actions. They lure you into sex and when you become pregnant they dump you. Enough is enough," said another resident.Women also took issue with what they described as "digital girls" who abandon school to engage in prostitution. Some residents said they were astonished to witness such a rare phenomenon.Ms Oduori later took the children to Busia Police Station. They will be taken to a children's home.
