There was drama on Friday after a new principal arrived at Cardinal Otunga Boys High school in Mosocho, Kisii County.
Kisii catholic bishop Joseph Mairura locked the principal’s office and went with the keys.
Mairura faulted TSC and Ministry of Education for failing to consult the church which sponsors the school before the new principal Dennis Muyendo was posted to the school.
However, other officials at the institution intervened and the new principal was allowed entry to take office.
Muyendo declined to comment on the drama but assured that he is ready to work with all teachers, parents and the church to achieve good results.
Muyendo until his transfer was a principal at Mukumo Boys Kakamega County.
Muyendo will replace Zachariah Nyariki who was moved to Kimilili Boys in Bungoma County.
