Drama erupted on Monday after an elderly man literally whipped Naivasha Member of Parliament (MP) John Kihagi during a demonstration at Nakuru Naivasha highway.
As if this was not enough, the MP then got involved in a physical war with Lakeview MCA Simon Wanyoike who was leading demonstrators protesting against the MPs ignorance over the matters of tittle deeds which they have written to him about severally.
However the MP was forced to leave the crowd without settling the matter, as the angered crowd started throwing stones at him.
Speaking during the demonstrations in Kayole estate along the Nakuru-Naivasha road, Wanyoike stated clearly that the MP had not shown signs of fulfilling what he promised the residents during his campaigns.
“Kihagi has the original allotment letters and since last year, he has not gotten back to us or address the land title deed problem of the people who elected him,” said Wanyoike.
Later, Nakuru County Assembly majority leader Samuel Wathuki joined the demonstrators and promised that he would present the issues to the assembly.
