Dramatic photos of the self-described National Resistance Movement general Miguna Miguna have surfaced online.
He is seen in a queue as he goes through the customs check, robbed in a black trenchcoat, a chestnut duffel bag in his hand.
The controversial lawyer is expected in Kenya later today when the plane carrying him will touch down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport runway.
His return comes weeks after he was forcefully deported to Canada over his involvement in Raila Odinga's mock inauguration at Uhuru Park.
Miguna took great umbrage at the dramatic handshake between Mr. Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta, calling it a betrayal of NASA supporters by Odinga.
It would be interesting to see what implications Miguna's return will have on the political landscape.
