Dreamland Empire's Dr Eddie and Mombasa based Singer Otile Brown's beef has a taken a different twist after the singer came out claiming that he was used and dumped.In an exclusive interview with Baraka FM, Otile Brown claims that his previous manager used him for his selfish interest only to blackmail him later when he opted to walk away from the recording label in search for greener pastures.A few weeks ago, Dr Eddie said the singer was not allowed to perform any of the songs he recorded under his label, adding that he will sue him if he goes against the directive. Otile Brown, however, fired back accusing Dr Eddie of breaching the terms of the contracts he had signed.“He breached the terms of the contracts. And I since I respected him I never used to question him all along,” said Otile, as quoted by the local daily.The singer also lamented that the producer had used his name to mint a lot of money only to give him peanuts. Otile further said Dr Eddie had vowed to take his music career to another level, a promise he never fulfilled.“Last year I was the busiest artiste in Kenya my being with him really boosted his portfolio. But come January when the shows were few he never honored the terms,” he added. Otile said he is still performing the songs he recorded with the producer.
