[Photo| Courtesy]Driver of a trailer that killed two people on New Year at Salgaa on New Year has opened up.The Monday morning accident left two pedestrians killed after driver of the truck lost control, swerving into a ditch.The middle aged driver said it was not his intentions to kill the deceased but he had tried to avoid grisly accident. "I was coming from Kampala. Upon arrival at Salgaa, the steering of my vehicle locked itself and I had no otherwise. I decided to avoid a dangerous accident that could kill many lives. So I directed the vehicle to this side and unfortunately there were two men passing," he narrated."It was not my intention to kill," he added.The accident also left one person injured after he escaped with minor injuries. The driver and his turn boy escaped unhurt.The January 1 accident followed the December 31 grisly accident 1km away from the scene. The accident left 37people dead at Migaa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
