Bonchari Member of parliament John Oroo has dismissed Raila’s calls for his supporters to boycott some key product until Jubilee agrees to carry out reforms in various institutions and said that will hurt the economy and above all the lives of the common man.
Oroo said Raila’s move to boycott key commodities and civil disobedience to press for fresh elections won't resolve anything but instead make Kenya the next Zimbabwe.
Addressing a number of youths on Wednesday at Suneka hall the MP said that the NASA’s plan for a National Resistance Movement was illegal and unworkable as he will be alone in the few days to come.
“Raila will keep on misleading his supporters and that will see Kenya lose a lot of income and more jobs lost through his call for a boycott of Key products that are essential in championing the well-being of the nation,” said Oroo.
The MP said that Kenya’s economy is interdependence and Raila will regret urging his supporters to boycott products.
The MP has been rallying the youths to consolidate support Jubilee despite the fact that he was elected under the party that is affiliated with NASA.
His remark comes at a time when Raila has insisted that he will continue pushing for economic boycott and disobedience to the ruling party Jubilee.
