The Bungoma Senator during an interview on KTN last week said Raila stands no chance of winning next year's presidential elections unless he supported a different candidate .

And now Nyamira County Assembly leader of majority Laban Masira believes the Ford Kenya leader has ‘insignificant’ contribution to the coalition and should be isolated to avoid more wrangles ahead of the 2017 elections.

“Our opponents are busy strategising on how to win the 2017 polls but as the opposition, we are rocked by internal wrangles which we solve daily instead of concentrating on real campaigns,” he said.

“Raila should do away with insignificant people such as Wetangula who are out to rock the opposition with unnecessary wrangles. He should be avoided because personally, I don’t see his value in Cord. We cannot give such people time to drag us behind,” he said.

Masira insisted that Raila should find ‘viable’ coalitions that could enable him win the presidency and added that the Ford Kenya leader did not have the ‘goodwill and support’ to impact in opposition’s campaigns.

“Riala should look for people with a voting bloc. Wetangula cannot even influence his Western backyard because it’s still an ODM zone. He must look for people with good will and support but not the likes of Wetangula,” he added.
