Nakuru East Deputy County Commissioner Omar Haji Salat has issued a stern warning to drug barons that the law will not spare them.

Speaking in his office on Monday during an interview, the DCC urged those engaging in such businesses to shun adding that the government will forgive those who will adhere to the law and shun the illegal business.

“We want are warning those engaging illegal drugs business that the law will catch up with them,” said Salat.

The administrator while noting that there are individuals still busy engaging in the illegal business of selling drugs such as cocaine and bhang, called on them to avail themselves in the administrators’ offices so that they can be assisted.

He added that the government is ready to assist them start other constructive businesses to empower themselves economically.

The administrator spoke just a week after police officers nabbed cocaine and bhang worth one million shillings in Nakuru East Sub County.
