MultiChoice Kenya through its DStv has announced a new deal to all of its customers that comes inclusive of free internet.

Now when subscribers buy a full kit DStv HD decoder, at a cost of KSh 7,000 they will receive a free MiFi router pre-loaded with 30 GB Data from Telkom and one month subscription of the DStv Compact package.

The offer dubbed 'DStv Na Net' is likely t attract a lot of customers and bring in a lot of sales.

“We understand that Internet has become a basic necessity for doing business and interacting with other people socially. That is why this partnership with Telkom is an important step towards improving our customer experience,” said MultiChoice Kenya Managing Director Eric Odipo.

According to the Communications Authority of Kenya, Kenya now has over 88% internet penetration.

The new offer will bring together the convenience of the internet and television through DStv.
