A dual carriage way along the Salgaa stretch will be the only solution to accidents which have been witnessed in the area, Nakuru county government has said.
While Speaking in Kuresoi, Nakuru deputy governor Erick Korir said they will ensure there is a dual carriage to avoid accidents.
Korir spoke after visiting families of victims who perished at the blackspot when a trailer lost control and rammed into several cars.
The crash left six people dead.
The deputy governor said the new route would ensure trucks and other vehicles use different routes hence avoid cases where trucks lead to crashes.
