National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has exuded confidence that President Uhuru Kenyatta will beat National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga hands down during the fresh election.
Speaking during a press briefing, Duale said that Uhuru will win the seat with more than 70 percent of the votes that will be cast when that time comes.
This is after Supreme Court under the leadership of Chief Justice Maraga David nullified Presidential election over irregularities and illegalities
“I want to tell our competitors that Kenyatta will win with more than 70pc of votes cast, let them watch this space,” said Duale, as quoted by Star.
The Garissa Town MP also launched attacks on NASA Presidential candidate for asking Kenyans to fund his campaigns.
The lawmaker accused Raila and his team of attempting to defraud Kenyans of their hard earned cash. This is after the former prime minister appealed to well wishers to walk with him as he leads the nation to what he terms as the Promised Land.
“I was shocked to see our rivals seeking for donations and not for votes, we us Jubilee we are busy campaigning but they are busy fleecing money from Kenyans. Kenyans must ignore these fraudsters,” said Duale.
