National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale has mocked Raila's ODM Party for what he termed as disorganised and incompetent in holding party primaries, citing last week's bungled nominations.
Speaking during a weekend rally held in Soko Ng’ombe, Duale made fun of the opposition, saying Jubilee primaries set to happen on Friday this week shall be an invaluable lesson for them.
He said there were election anomalies in the counties that have so far held their nominations where there were results manipulation, voter bribery and even chaos.
The Garissa Township MP further added that his Jubilee party had adequately prepared for the primaries, affirming that the voter registers and ballot boxes were ready. He also said training of staff had already kicked off.
“ODM party primaries have always been problematic. It is a political party that is controlled by some few individuals, who are closer to leader Raila Odinga. Anyone expecting to see free, fair or even transparent party nominations in ODM is just day dreaming,” said Duale.
He, however, assured all JP supporters and the various aspirants that the party primaries would be fair to everyone since all the logistics had been finalized.
