[Photo/nation.co.ke]National Assembly Majority Leader Adan Duale has said that the repeat presidential poll will not take place under 'NASA conditions'.Duale was responding to NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga who on Sunday during a rally at Jacaranda grounds said that the presidential poll will be conducted 'kulingana na masharti ya NASA' (according to NASA conditions).During an interview on Citizen TV on Sunday evening, Duale said that this would amount to interfering with the workings of an independent constitutional body."That statement qualifies a lot of things. One, Raila Odinga wants to control the institution of IEBC. On one hand he is asking for a level playing ground and on the other he wants to dictate his terms. That's unacceptable," said Duale. He added: "Raila and NASA have been speaking from both sides of their mouth in the last two weeks. They are saying the want elections, and again they tell us that the secretariat led by Ezra Chiloba and some commissioners must go. The companies printing ballot papers and that giving us the technology should not be there. So are these people who are ready for elections?"Homabay MP Peter Kaluma, however, said that Nasa is ready for the polls and neither is the coalition threatening violence or mass action as Jubilee top leadership has been quoted as saying."We are essentially telling IEBC that we have seen you before, and we are now warning you. We are telling Chiloba that we are not pleased by his performance as CEO and we are telling him 'leave', if you don't you will ultimately have to leave," said Kaluma.
