National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has accused Opposition coalition NASA of plotting to get into government through unconstitutional means.

Speaking on Wednesday while moving an adjournment motion in the House, the lawmaker noted that Jubilee will thwart any plans by NASA to seek a coalition government.

"There is no vacuum in the office of the President. Uhuru [Kenyatta] is not under temporary incumbency, he can hire and fire. [The] Supreme Court nullified the presidential results meaning there was no election and therefore Uhuru is the President," he remarked.

He, however, observed that should NASA want a coalition government, they will have to collect at least one million signatures.

"If they want a coalition government, they must first collect one million signatures to allow for a referendum," he stated.

Despite the pronouncements, the NASA leadership has on several occasions asserted that they have no plans to share power with Jubilee.
