National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale has been accused of being a Jubilee sycophant at the expense of national unity.
Duale has come under attack from angry opposition leaders and youth groups who have accused the legislator of failing to provide leadership to Members of Parliament.
Nyalenda B representative James Were lashed at Duale saying that he has failed to deliver leadership in Kenyan politics.
Speaking to this writer on Tuesday, Were said that there was urgent need to ask the Eleventh house Majority leader to be a leader rather than a sycophant.
“Duale should give direction in parliament and that calls for wise leadership rather than sycophancy and mudslinging. I believe that irrespective of the parties we are representing,we should provide leadership to Kenyans,” said Were.
Kisumu City Residents Voice association chairman Audi Ogada accused Duale of playing politics aimed at intimidating and side-lining regions perceived as Cord leader Raila Odinga’s strongholds.
“Let Duale provide leadership to all parliamentarians, irrespective of whichever side they may be supporting. We need him to stop his cheap sycophancy and lead our MPs to the next level by uniting them,” said Audi.
Nominated MCA Farida Salim also asked the majority leader to make history in Kenyan politics through leadership rather than sycophancy.
