The leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale has assured political aspirants that the Jubilee Party will hold free and fair nominations.
Duale told political aspirants not to worry about unfair nominations, adding that the party has no favourites for any political position.
"The nominations will be free and fair to everyone. I want to assure aspirants that Jubilee will not give any direct tickets to any contestants," Duale said.
"Only the president has been given a direct ticket. All the other posts will be subjected to nominations. All aspirants will be given a fair ground," he added.
The Garissa Town MP further said that Jubilee will mandate the electoral body, IEBC to conduct the exercise to avoid interference from party officials.
"IEBC will conduct our nominations, that will ensure that they are free and fair by avoiding interference by party officials," he said.
