National Assembly Leader of Majority Aden Duale, has mourned the death of Interior and Co-ordination, Joseph Nkaissery, saying it was so sudden, and came as a shocker.

The Garissa Twonship lawmaker recalled the last moments with the former Kajiado Central lawmaker, saying, they bth attended the Saba Saba (July 7) prayer day for the nation, at the Uhuru Park grounds, held by the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK) and he was very jovial.

Duale said Nkaissery showed no signs of complications, and that he was in good health.

"It is a sad day for Kenya. Even as we mourn this great man, let us stop speculations and await for the burial. I believe the country will give him a good sendoff. Let's remember that death is inevitable, and we have nothing else to do about it," said Duale.

Speaking at the Lee Funeral Home, in Nairobi, Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu) secretary general Francis Atwoli said he recieved the sad news while in Arusha, Tanzania, and he immediately left for Kenya.

He said Kenya had lost a great worker, adding that Nkaissery was his neighbour at their home in Kajiado.

"He would fly past my home, as he headed to his home. Nkaissery was a very nice person, and it is a great lose to the country," noted Atwoli, Saturday morning.
