ODM Narok leaders have temporarily ‘suspended’ National assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale from campaigning in the region until he apologizes for ‘demeaning’ them.
Understandably, Duale had on Thursday dismissed ODM leadership in the county as ‘weak and disorganized’.
Led by Governorship aspirant Joseph Ole Tiampati and his senate counterpart Ledama Ole Kina, the two leaders also called for prosecution of Duale.
“He rarely opens his mouth without insulting other leaders. He remains suspended in Narok until he apologizes for demeaning us,” Tiampati said.
On His part, Ole Kina added:” We have never gone to Garissa to incite locals and time has come for this man to face the law. He doesn’t understand our culture yet he comes here to insult elders.”
Controversial as he is, Duale has often found himself on the receiving end from his fellow politicians with Bomet governor being his first victim.
And early this year, he had to record a statement with CID after an audio resurfaced online in which it is believed that he was inciting Garissa locals against Kamba community.
