Duale has been a key defendant of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime and has often had difficult times from members of opposition both in and out of the assembly.

And Mohammed now wants the Garissa Town MP to ‘drop the york’ of the corrupt regime for the sake of his 2017 reelection.

“Duale is carrying a york of a corrupt government. He is always defending everything as long as he makes his bosses happy and that is not the right way to go,” he said on a Facebook post.

“Defending impunity could even cost him in 2017 and time has come for him to only defend the truth. Hopefully he will learn to be accommodative and liberal in his thinking,” he added.

On Sunday, Duale accused opposition leader Raila Odinga of allegedly charging his supporters to bring chaos after 2017 elections.
