Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has once again reiterated that the Jubilee government has done well since it came to power, and urged Garissa locals to ensure they re-elect the leaders.

Speaking on Friday when he addressed a Jubilee rally after presenting his papers to the IEBC, the vocal leader enumerated the achievements the govenrent has done.

Te Jubilee Government had done a lot, from infrastructure (SGR , roads, ports, airports) Health Care (more equipment, 94 referral hospitals, free maternity, more access to NHIF), energy expansion and (600mw produced, 3.5 million Kenyans connected to electricity, 50mw solar project constructions in Garissa)

He went on to mention education opportunities that the government has created, as well as improving security through investment in the sector and having more police and military absorption.

It all started early on in the town, as youths allied to the Majority Leader and by extension the Jubilee party gathered and changed praises as they waited to escort him to the IEBC office.

Duale then received his IEBC clearance certificate which declares him officially as a candidate for the August 8th General Election.

Present during the exercise were IEBC commissioner Madam Akombe, County IEBC Election Manager, Jubilee Gubernatorial candidate - Ali Korane, his running mate Abdi Dakane, Women Rep Anab Subow and host of other key leaders from the county.

He is set to face strong opposition in Farah Maalim, who will contesting on a Wiper Democratic ticket.
