Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that he will be retaining his seat as Garissa Town Member of Parliament and he is confident that he will be re-elected.
Speaking to a local daily, Duale said that he has a good track record of development in his constituency, and he believes he will be re-elected in next year's general elections.
"I have transformed Garissa town in the last four years as an area MP. My constituents are happy with my work," said Duale.
The URP elected MP has been in the fore defending his Jubilee party, and in most cases taking on the opposition party, Cord over different issues both in the house and outside parliament.
Duale further refuted claims by a section of media and locals as well, who have said he will be vying for the gubernatorial seat, even though he did say he might be interested in 2022.
