Raila Odinga on Thursday addressed the media on the issues contained in the document signed between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The former prime minister made it clear that all the issues that they want to address are contained in the document they signed with the president.
"The memorandum is clear. The issues we want to address are in the document we signed. It will be subject to different interpretation," Mr. Odinga said.
In the deal, President Kenyatta and Odinga agreed to address among them divisive elections, ethnic antagonism, lack of national ethos, inclusivity, shared prosperity, security and human rights.
However, majority leader in the national assembly made it clear on Wednesday that Jubilee will not have any talk revolving around electoral injustice with Nasa despite it being one of the issues in the document.
"Talks between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga will not revolve around the push for electoral justice and restructuring of the country's governance. That should be very clear. Electoral justice and amendments to the constitution to create positions, I can tell you without fear of contradiction, are not what Uhuru and Raila will talk about," said Duale.
However, this was readily dismissed by Raila Odinga who said that the deal was clear as the issues had already been set out by him and the president.
