As part of an effort to make sure that students will not miss a desk in his Garissa Township constituency, Aden Duale distributed over 3,000 school desks funded by the Garissa Township Constituency Development Fund (CDF), to be used by more than 12,000 pupils from the 28 public primary schools.
The schools include:

He said the remaining desks to be distributed were 200, for Madarasa Schools
''In the last nine years of my leadership we have build and equipped all our schools both primary and secondary with modern classrooms, administration blocks, laboratories, libraries , school buses. More teachers and partnership between parents, teachers, education stakeholders and my office,'' Duale said, Monday.
