The vocal MP downplayed any rift between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy President William Ruto amid allegations that the duo was falling apart.

Duale stated that the relationship between the president and his deputy is all ‘well’ despite media reports of jubilee Party relationships going sour after warming up towards Raila.

The Garissa Township MP noted that it was premature to engage in politics at the moment and asked leaders to instead focus on transformative agendas that are beneficial to local Kenyans.

“We have been monitoring the events as they unfold and I can say it is premature to engage in 2022 politics at this time,” noted Duale.

Duale stated that the DP has been loyal and will always remain loyal to the president until his term comes to an end in 2022 after serving two terms.

“The deputy President has and will remain loyal to the president until he finishes his term come 2022,” noted Duale.

Duale added that through Ruto’s presidency, Kenyans have a lot to learn noting that no matter how humble your background is, one can still afford to be the president of this country.
