Garissa Township legislator Aden Duale says that Deputy President William Ruto is a 'good man' contrary to what has been said of him.
The Leader of Majority in the National Assembly said that those who have termed Ruto as a bad man do not know him in person, and were only jealous of his achievements.
"People have termed and painted the Deputy President as a bad man, but truth is Ruto is a good man and quite friendly to all people," he told journalists in Nairobi on Monday.
"Many of those haters do not know him in person and they envy him for what he has achieved," he added.
Duale added that they are great friends with the Deputy president and he and many others always count on him whenever they need an assistance.
"The DP listens to you when you approach him. We are great friends," he said.
