Garissa Township MP Aden Duale is the new patron of Parliamentary Pastoralist Group.

The leader of Majority in the National Assembly expressed his delight after landing the new role on Monday.

"Many thanks to Members of Parliament for showing confidence in my leadership and electing me as the Pastoralists’ Parliamentary Group (PPG) Patron for the next 5 years" the MP posted on Twitter.

The vocal Jubilee lawmaker promised to work together with all other legislators from different pastoralist communities to ensure their issues including insecurity, devolution, education, and infrastructure are sufficiently addressed.
