Garissa town constituents opposed to Aden Duale's 2017 legislative bid have criticized the legislator for hiring goons to sabotage the water supplier body that is under the county government.
The residents now say that water problems have persisted since the legislator commenced his routine political tours in the region.
According to Gewasco Engineers, a number of pipes serving various Bullas were filled with blocking materials that range from old tattered clothing to plastic materials, something they might have been done intentionally to obstruct and sabotage the water supply agency.
Even as this unfolds, locals allied to Garissa County Governor Nathif Jama argue that Duale who has displayed open support for Ali Korane has moved his bitter indignation towards the innocent residents of Garissa with view of shifting their support to his favorite.
However, the county government of Garissa has since removed all the blocked water pipes and replaced them with branded heavy gauge class pipes.
