[Photo/nation.co.ke]I4 county governments in the pastoral areas have been asked to give a comprehensive account of how they spent 200 billion shillings they got from Treasury.The demand has been made by the Leader of Majority Aden Duale.Duale bemoaned the challenges that pastoral communities were contending with despite receiving money fro the central government.''Devolution ended the narrative of marginalisation. Pastoralists cannot talk of marginalisation whereas the central government has spent 200 billion shillings for development in the last five years. We would not be hearing of water problems if the county chiefs spent the cash well.'' Duale said according to the Daily Nation.He said that the leaders from pastoral communities did not have the moral justification to complain about marginalisation as funds allocated to them could not be properly accounted for.Duale spoke during the Pastoralists Parliamentary Group (PPG) meeting in Mombasa at the Nyali Sun Beach Hotel.
