Garissa Township Legislator Aden Duale says he wants to be the first MP on record in independent Kenya to bring a motion to discuss the conduct of a sitting judge.
He says he intends to give a notice of motion to discuss the conduct of Judge Odunga when the house resumes in January.
“As per standing order 87, I intend to give notice of motion to discuss the conduct of judge Odunga when the house resumes in January 2017,” he states.
Hon Duale went ahead to say that he won’t be intimidated by the Law Society of Kenya the Chief Justice or Cord principals into denying him the legislative powers he was given under the constitution.
“I want to remind the Chief Justice that any citizen can petition the Judicial Service Commission for his removal or any other judge with questionable conduct as per the constitution," he added.
