This comes after Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) threatened to lead nationwide peaceful demonstration if Issak and his team do not vacate office.

Duale lashed out at the former premier and other leaders calling for the resignation of Issak and other commissioners, saying that the constitution does not provide room for a vacuum.

He also added that there is need to have a smooth transition in this electoral body considering its role when it comes to democracy.

The outspoken politician argued that it is illogical for the opposition to put too much focus on the commissioners while 'their coalition is still in a shambles' and added that 'Raila is destined to lose miserably like he has done in previous elections.'

He called upon the Somali community to stand with Jubilee government to realize the fruits of devolution.

“Let us elect Uhuru Kenyatta for a second term,” said Duale while addressing members of the community  in Mombasa.

He added; “You will not be told to go to your home town to apply for identification cards. President Uhuru Kenyatta gave an order to officers issuing IDs to issue them to everyone where they live,”
