With Duale's political relationship with Garissa Governor Nathif Jama getting worse, the majority leader has said he will use his wealth and power to have Ali Korane unseat Jama.
In a secretly recorded video of Duale at Dakaburi in Garissa, the incumbent MP revealed that Ali Korane was the best placed individual to entrust with the top most county job if the county is to attain milestone developments after the 2017 general elections.
This is not the first time that the vocal Garissa MP is blasting Governor Jama over the issue of developments. Recently, He was widely reported by the media accusing the governor of incompetence especially when handling the water issue that has remained a bigger challenge to the town residents.
At one time, the MP called for the Garissa Water and Sewerage Company (GAWASCO) to be reverted back to the national government because Jama's administration had widely failed the sector.
Another factor that could have aggravated the Duale-Jama rift is their differing political ideologies since the MP is a Jubilee die hard while the governor is allied to the opposition.
