Cheruiyot said that Duale’s ‘big mouth’ is harming jubilee’s reputation and called on him to ‘sieve’ the words that come out of his mouth.

Speaking at Kuresoi town on Monday, Cheruiyot claimed that some remarks being made by Duale are doing more harm than good to the Jubilee government.

The MP said that harsh words being used by the Majority Leader at times and his ‘dirty’ language are some of the things which portray the government in bad light.

“Duale got to power and forgot that one day he will be out of that position. Power had corrupted his mind and he can say whatever he feels like at anytime, but this is tarnishing the image of the Jubilee government. It is not a must that he has to talk, if he has nothing to say then let him keep quiet and let people with sense talk,” said Cheruiyot.

He added, “He might think that he is defending the government but I want to tell him that his unwarranted attacks on people are hurting the government’s image.”

Cheruiyot called on Duale to seek advice from people like him who served in government and the ruling party for long on how to defend the government without hurting its image.
