After weeks of silence over the widespread allegations of hate speech on Waberi residents, Garissa Township legislator Aden Duale has finally commented on the issue, promising the residents more goodies.
On Wednesday, the MP engaged youths, women and professionals from Waberi Location, Samawathal Community, where they discussed on development issues surrounding bursary disbursement, education standards, Uwezo funds, roads, and even building madarasa's to benefit them.
Duale further issued that the government was in the process of tarmacking the road from Kismayo - Municipal Council up to Bashaal to ease local transport in the region.
He also hinted that he would ensure that first ever secondary school in Waberi location, asking the residents of Tawakal, Bulla Mzuri and the Bulla Noor Sub Locations to find ideal putting up more schools to benefit their children.
After the meeting, the residents eventually agreed to support the Jubilee Party in the forthcoming general elections, promising that they would popularly support the re-election of President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
