Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Bare Duale on Monday held a consultative meeting with the GEMA community ahead of the 2017 elections.

In the meeting, they talked of the Jubilee government's achievement and development in various sectors countrywide.

"They chose their new leadership in an annual meeting and we discussed the achievements of the Jubilee Administration under President Uhuru Kenyatta from infrastructure, health care, education, roads, constructions, last mile electricity programme, waiver of the examination fees, livestock insurance, improved investment in the security sector among others," read a post on Aden Duale's facebook account. 

He further urged them to register in large numbers during the ongoing mass voter registration across the country and support president Uhuru's leadership.

"We've agreed to register in large numbers during this mass voter registration and support President Uhuru leadership. We will continue preaching peace, co - existence and free elections in August this year," said Duale.

His seat, Garissa Township constituency is set to be one of the most contested in the area, with Farah Maalim ready to battle the powerful Jubilee man for the same.
