National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale yesterday attended a high end meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices in Nairobi.
The delegation led by National Assembly Speaker Justice Muturi met with Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir.
Duale noted that they discussed strong bilateral investment opportunities between Kenya and Saudi Arabia.
The vocal Assembly leader thanked Saudi Arabia for taking in Kenyan workforce and funding various projects in the country.
"Thanks to the Kingdom for the over 55,000 Kenyan workforce and the various projects funded by the Saudi Arabia fund for Development, " noted Duale.
Duale noted that the Nunow-Modagashe 146Km highway was jointly funded by the two countries.
He added that in the next three weeks, the board of Saudi Arabia fund will be approving the Modogashe - Wahid highway.
