Leader of Majority in National Assembly Aden Duale has dismissed Mudavadi's significance to Cord Alliance.
Duale says that Mudavadi brings nothing on table to CORD, adding he has no political implication to the sinking CORD.
“Musalia Mudavadi has no political relevance, he brings nothing new on board in CORD," Duale told a local daiyl.
Duale's sentiments come days after Mudavadi announced plans to join forces with Raila Odinga led CORD coalition to form a super alliance with an aim to wrestle the presidency from Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to Mudavadi's ANC, 'Muungano Maalum' is aimed at uniting all opposition parties and trade unions against the misrule by Jubilee.
Mudavadi contested for the Presidency in 2013 elections but trailed Uhuru and Raila to claim third position with around 300,000 votes.
It is still yet to be established what position Mudavadi will be offered in the Super Alliance that is yet to name its flag bearer in the 2017 elections.
