National Assembly majority leader Aden Duale has said that NASA is violating the constitution through its power sharing policy.
Speaking in Garissa County at Bula College, Duale criticized opposition’s style of leadership that is only based on power sharing.
“You can only share the positions which are provided for under the Constitution. We have the position of the President and that of the Deputy President. We also have the position of the speakers, which again is the preserve of the political party which has the largest numbers of Members of Parliament who will again elect the leaders of majority in the house,” Duale said.
The outspoken MP was laughing off a lineup that NASA has proposed that will see the 2013 repeat of Raila Odinga as the president and Kalonzo Musyoka deputizing him.
Musalia Mudavadi might be the Chief Minister as Moses Wetangula settles for a speaker role in the Senate or the National Assembly.
He complained about a plot by three communities to share power yet Kenya has 42 communities. Duale said this is discriminating the other 39 communities.
