National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale says that the Orange Democratic Movement Party is synonymous with violence following fracas that broke out in Homabay on Sunday.
Duale further claimed that ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga was aware of the physical fight between Homabay MP Peter Kaluma and an aspirant identified as Washington Ogaga.
“I want Kaluma to listen to me... I formed ODM and I can tell you that you are a victim of circumstances and that Baba is aware why you were clobbered," he said.
"Find out why you were clobbered in his presence," Duale added.
However, Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi has vehemently denied Duale’s claims insisting that ODM is a well-organised party which values Kaluma.
“Kaluma is a very valued member of the ODM party. The scuffle was internal and we are addressing the issue. Duale should keep off our matters as a party," he added.
