Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has hailed NASA leaders for canceling Raila Odinga's inauguration.Duale says that NASA's move is a good sign for the country's unity.Speaking to journalists in Garissa Town on Tuesday, Duale asked NASA to permanently cancel the illegal and unconstitutional swearing-in.He said that Raila's push for illegal swearing-in will destroy his political career he has fought hard for decades. The leader of the majority in the National Assembly said that it is time Raila reflected on his role in the country's unity and sat down to work with president Uhuru Kenyatta."We are happy that Raila Odinga and his allies canceled the illegal swearing-in they were about to undertake and we urge them to permanently abandon the idea for the sake of unity and peace of our country," he said.Duale also asked NASA politicians pushing for Raila's swearing-in to stop misleading him.He said that the former Prime Minister (PM) has a reputation to protect, claiming that those pushing him want to taint his legacy."I have worked with Raila Odinga and I know he is a principled man but he is being misled by certain people who are hungry for power," he said.Duale said that Jubilee is more than willing to embrace and work with Raila for the benefit of Kenyans.Raila's swearing-in was called off on Sunday on grounds that he could not be sworn-in in the absence of his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka who is in Germany attending to his ailing wife. The postponement of the much-publicised coronation left Raila's supporters disappointed with a section terming the cancellation as a cowardice act.The former Prime Minister has maintained that he does not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency and he will be sworn-in by the people's assembly since he allegedly won the August 8 presidential election.
