This is after Maraga said that Duale is among the leaders interfering with the judiciary matters.
Duale, Garissa Township MP, wanted Justice Odunga not to be part of any case in relation to the August general elections.
Duale and other leaders backing the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta had raised concerns over the relationship between Siaya Senator James Orengo, a strong supporter of NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga, and Odunga.
Duale argues that Maraga should address the issues raised by the Jubilee side."Instead of the CJ addressing the issues that Tuju has raised, he's becoming a politician and distracting Kenyans from the issues Jubilee Party raised," he said, as quoted by Star.
The lawmaker said that he is surprised that the head of the Judiciary would have thrown out the case instead of joining politician’s talk.
"I'm shocked that the Chief Justice can’t recall a case in the same courts he runs, and in particular the case of Standard Chartered Bank versus Manchester Outfitters, where the Court of Appeal revised its own ruling." Duale, who is defending his post, said that it is clear Maraga does not want leaders of Jubilee to launch complains.
He further said that Odunga has publicly shown that he is biased.
