Speaking on Sunday at Mombasa's Tononoka grounds, Duale alleged that Raila is sketching a well designed plan to discredit the 2017 polls, thereby causing chaos that will lead to his incorporation to a coalition government with Jubilee.

The legislator, however, warned the ODM Party leader against the move, saying such plans are bound to fail.

He challenged the former Prime Minister to stay honest in his pursuit for a credible election.

“Raila’s plan is to distabilise the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) so that he can cause chaos and force his inclusion into the government under a Grand Coalition deal. We would like to tell him that his plans will not succeed,” said Duale.

Raila has in the past dismissed similar claims made by Duale, saying he is determined to form the next government.
