National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has accused ODM Leader Raila Odinga of conspiring with Western countries to get power through unconstitutional means.
Speaking on Wednesday during a press conference in Nairobi, the legislator claimed that the opposition chief had sensed defeat ahead of the 2017 polls and are now planning and premeditating violence after the elections.
“He and his foreign masters aspire to take Kenya to unchartered darkness of chaos and undemocratic takeover, institutional sabotage and constitutional overthrow,” Duale said as quoted by the Star.
“If you see that you can’t beat Uhuru in 2017 and Ruto in 2022, it is better you hang up your boots. We can’t allow you to use the ICC again. We are aware of the many trips you made to ensure ICC jailed them,” he added.
Duale was in the company of 20 other legislators allied with the Jubilee Party.
