National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has urged ODM leader Raila Odinga to have a stance when it comes to corruption.
On Sunday, Duale asked Raila not to be only critical to the national government but also on the ODM-led counties.
The Garissa Township MP said Raila was acting on audit queries to attack the national government while defending ODM counties on the same.
"Raila Odinga has been portraying himself as the crusader against graft. When a corruption case is raised by the Auditor General against the national government, Raila will call a press conference to ask for a probe into the matter but when the same is raised about counties led by ODM governors, the press conference is meant to shield them. That is showing double standards," he told KTN's Checkpoint.
Duale at the same time told Raila to ask Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi to step aside saying in the Afya House scandal, the former prime minister had asked those responsible for the ministry to leave office.
"The same Raila who asked PC Nicholas Muraguri and CS Cleopa Mailu to step aside and allow for investigations to take place on a mere audit report should do the same for Kilifi County. Why is he not asking Governor Kingi to step aside?" Duale posed.
